When is golf season in Boise?
Most courses play from early spring into late fall. Summers are hot, with an average July high of 94°F, so early tee times go fast in July and August. Fall is the favorite season for a lot of local golfers: cooler days, and the foothills turn gold.
What should golfers check before buying a home on a course?
- Stray balls: homes along a fairway can take hits to windows, siding, and cars. Look at which side of the fairway the home sits on.
- HOA rules and fees: golf communities often have them, and some include course or club costs.
- Club membership: living next to a private club doesn't include a membership. Ask the club about its process before you buy.
- Views can change: check whether the course has any plans to reroute holes or add development.
